Placol was the new drug from a dynamic, emerging company. With nearly 80 statins already on the market—both branded and generic—we needed a bold and impressive launch. The central message for the drug was: “Placol, and you’ve got ‘Formula 1’ in your blood,” highlighting its rapid action, safety, and high effectiveness.
To bring this message to life, the pharmaceutical company’s booth at the Cardiology Congress featured a real Formula 1 racing car. The only way to get the car in and out of the Hilton Hotel was by crane, lifting it through a window wall that had to be removed and replaced twice!
